Virtual Beaded Moccasin Workshop – June 2026

Join us for a 3-day virtual workshop and learn how to make your own pair of traditional moose hide moccasins with beaver fur trim and beaded design accents. Perfect for all skill levels!

Workshop Details:

  • Three sessions:  June 3rd, 10th, & 17th

  • Choose your time: Wednesdays, 1-3 PM Yukon Time or 7-9 PM Yukon Time

  • Classes are 1.5–2 hours each, hosted via Zoom

  • Registration deadline: May 16th

  • Minimum 5 participants required

Pricing Options:

  • $250 – Includes full moccasin kit (plus $25 shipping)

  • $100 – Use your own materials (includes PDF pattern + materials list)
    Local pick-up is available.

Kit Includes:

  • Moccasin pattern

  • Moose hide (vamp, sole, and welts)

  • Liner

  • Strip of beaver fur

  • Beading thread

  • Sinew

  • Glover, beading, and plain needles

  • 2 pieces of beading foundation

  • 2 index cards

  • 10 small bags of seed beads

  • Beeswax and small piece of hide

Shipping & Pickup Info:

Shipped kits go out by May 18th

  • Local pickup is available on Monday, May 25th

Requirements:

  • Access to a laptop or iPad with a camera for Zoom participation

  • A quiet workspace to bead and stitch comfortably
